Rivers Casino Philadelphia Resumes in-door Dining from January 16

Several restaurants with in-door dining facilities reopened at Rivers Casino in Philadelphia this weekend. With the Department of Public Health easing restrictions earlier imposed due to COVID-19, Jack’s Bar + Grill, Hugo’s Frog Bar & Chop House, and Mian began serving guests from January 16. However, seating is still restricted to 25% capacity.

The gaming floor at Rivers Casino reopened on January 4, along with most other casinos in Pennsylvania. And according to inputs from the commonwealth and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Rivers Casino Philadelphia is allowed to stay open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with select hours of operation for every restaurant.

All COVID-19 restrictions are strictly enforced, including wearing masks at all times except when dining, social distancing without exception, and temperature checks before entering. Seating is currently limited to four guests per table.

The Rivers Clean Team time will remain active through the day, deep cleaning the tables after every turn. This is in line with the CDC and the state’s regulations. Commenting on the development, a Rivers casino spokesperson revealed that the team is excited about serving patrons and are upholding the highest safety standards to curb virus transmission.

“We are thrilled that three of our signature restaurants are now being allowed to reopen. We’re especially thrilled to welcome back our food and beverage team members. Ensuring the well-being of our staff and patrons is our top priority,” explained Eric Fitzgerald, the General Manager at Rivers Casino Philadelphia.

Jack’s Bar + Grill

Jack’s Bar + Grill is a classic American restaurant serving up local delicacies while offering patrons a front-row seat with waterfront views and delectable cuisines. A few classic items on the menu include crab cake sandwiches, BBQ ribs, smoked wings, and an assortment of sweet treats like apple pie, pumpkin cheesecake, and s’mores served in mason jars. Signature cocktails, wine, and brews accompany a wide range of cuisine, but alcohol is only served with food and cannot be purchased separately. Jack’s Bar + Grill will serve guests between noon and 8 P.M every day.

Hugo’s Frog Bar & Chop House

A classic American steakhouse with contemporary design elements, Hugo’s Frog Bar & Chop House boasts of an eclectic menu including fresh seafood, sandwiches, a variety of salads, and oversized deserts apart from its signature steaks. Renowned for its classic Philly Cut, Hugo’s serves USDA Gibsons’ Prime Angus beef apart from other cult classics like oysters on the half shell, jumbo lump crab cakes, craft cocktails, wine, and more. The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday between 4 and 10 P.M only. And here, too, alcohol is served with food purchases only.


Mian serves authentic and quick Asian delicacies with a wide variety of fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Some of its signature dishes include oxtail soup, general Tso’s chicken, crabmeat and sausage fried rice, and more. Mian offers guests a lunch special that includes a small soup, shrimp roll, and a choice of six entrees, Just for $20. The restaurant serves guests between noon and 11 P.M daily while alcohol is restricted with food purchases only.
